History posts about Lionel LTI, Atlas O, MTH, Williams, and K Line.At this blog expect to see articles expressing excitement for the MPC and Fundimensions period. For those who came of age in the 1970s and 1980’s its particularly frustrating to see this aspect of the hobby ignored, neglected or trashed. This blog believes that MPC deserves much more respect than it gets. From the boxed collector sets, to separate sale (Remember the Famous American Railroad Sets?) to the starter sets.

Posts about engines and sets from this period. What are some of the topics to be written about in the course of time? This blog has a lot of objectives so it’s appropriate to lay out some of the goals to come over the next year.

This is a blog that is being stood up with the goal to discuss, analyze and explore many topics in the O gauge hobby and look at it from different perspectives. I think you'll see it is really a tremendous bargain for many- not all- organizations. And, have a look at the feature list, the work that goes into a quality database product, the tens of thousands of dollars I've personally invested in it over the years, and the responsibility I bear to my customers for their success, their training, and their support these last 16 years. Our web site has a list of our customers.īefore anyone here writes off this product because of the price tag, check out competing products, many of which sell at several multiples or more of FUNDimensions' price. I have a long list of satisfied customers, a majority of whom moved to FUNDimensions after using something less expensive, because they saw that FUNDimensions served their needs in a superior and valuable way. There are plenty of products out their to meet their needs.īut for organizations that can spend money for software, FUNDimensions provides them a powerful and effective advantage in raising more money- recouping many times their software investment, both through better fundraising practices, and through reduced staffing requirements.

Organizations raising less than $40-50,000 a year probably will use something less expensive. FUNDimension isn't necessarily for organizations just starting out, although many of my customer are startups.
